Nestled in the heart of Richmond, in a suburb of Vancouver, Dolphin Park was transformed from an ordinary playground to the home of the best outdoor four-on-four basketball tournament in Western Canada.
For more than a quarter century, for one weekend every July, select ballers from across British Columbia, Canada and the US gather to put on a show that keeps fans coming back year after year. It’s a weekend where players and fans get treated to some of the province’s finest basketball action. Now in its new home at Thompson Community centre, the Dolphin Basketball Classic is still a can’t miss summer event.
